After you remove the initial piercing studs we recommend that for the first year you wear earrings made from 14k/18k gold, platinum or medical-grade titanium to prevent development of a nickel allergy.
I carry a full line of medical-grade earrings, 14k/18k gold, diamond, moissanite and/or cubic zirconia earrings in perfect sizes for miniature ears. Online shopping coming soon.
I NEVER recommend wearing gold plated, gold filled, gold vermeil or sterling silver during the first year of a piercing.
